Small OD or Tan Ball Head Tripod with SSP-2

The small, compact ball head tripod coupled with the SSP-2 (Sniper Shooting Platform) is ideal for prone, bench top, or other suitable platforms to provide a compact stable shooting platform. The small tripod adjusts from approximately 6.5" to 8.5" and folds for a very compact light weight packable shooting platform measuring 8 1/4" long and weighing 11 ounces. With the ball head removed, the minimum height of the tripod is 4 1/4". Given the inherent stability of being prone this system enhances the shooters ability to engage targets and follow through with the recoil and return to their target line without having to adjust for a bipod that may have jumped or shifted during recoil. The ability to cover a target area left and right and up and down and or moving targets is often challenging without having the flexibility to bring your rifle to bear on target quickly this can cause a lack in efficiency. The tripod and cradle system aid the shooter in rapid accurate target engagement and is a great addition to your kit. SSP-2 accommodates the wider fore ends found with such stocks such as the McMillan A5, TRG 42, or Manners T4. Small ball head tripods are painted either OD or tan, and SSP-2 cradles are offered in OD, Coyote, Black, and Crye Multicam.
